FRIENDLY BANTER. FRIENDLY CHALLENGES.
Your next group debate starts here.
Original starter ideas for adults 18+. Keep participation voluntary, use no cash and agree how each answer will be checked.
Before you drop a Yapp
Write one question with a date, time and timezone. Define the evidence and what counts as each answer. Close voting before the outcome is known and place settlement after the event. Treat these as examples to adapt; do not reuse an expired date. Avoid health, intimate relationships, job performance and embarrassing personal disclosures.
College crew: the Goa plan
Question: Will our crew agree Goa travel dates by Sunday at 8 PM IST? Choices: YES / NO. YES means every person who opted into the plan confirms the same dates in the group chat before the deadline. Otherwise NO. Agreement is enough; no spending or booking is required.
College crew: the campus quiz
Question: Will our voluntary quiz team finish its practice round by Saturday at 5 PM IST? Choices: YES / NO. Before voting, choose the practice question set and define finished as every question answered once. Use the team answer sheet to confirm completion, not private grades or student records.
College crew: movie-night choice
Question: Which of these three films will our crew select by Friday at 6 PM IST? Choices: the three agreed film titles / NONE. Before voting, agree that selection requires a majority of the named voluntary planning group; if none reaches it, the result is NONE. Do not confuse the Yapp prediction vote with the separate planning poll.
Colleague group: Friday dinner
Question: Will our voluntary after-work dinner happen on Friday before 9 PM IST? Choices: YES / NO. YES means at least three opted-in friends meet at the agreed venue by that time. Confirm in the group after the event; do not collect location histories or involve managers in monitoring participation.
Colleague group: lunch decision
Question: Will our lunch group agree one place by noon tomorrow? Choices: YES / NO. Define agreement before opening the Yapp, such as a majority of the opted-in group accepting one option in the planning chat. Keep customer information and workplace performance out of the challenge.
Colleague group: game evening
Question: Will our voluntary board-game evening complete two rounds by 8 PM on Thursday? Choices: YES / NO. Agree the game and what counts as a completed round beforehand. Have the participating group confirm after play. No money, penalties or mandatory attendance.
Weekend crew: cafe catch-up
Question: Will at least four opted-in friends reach the cafe by 6 PM on Saturday? Choices: YES / NO. Confirm a head count at the agreed time without collecting individual travel or location histories. If the event is cancelled, use the agreed result criteria and the app review flow.
Weekend crew: cooking challenge
Question: Will our group finish making the agreed dish before 8 PM on Sunday? Choices: YES / NO. Define finished as ready to serve, choose the recipe beforehand and confirm together after cooking. Keep it fun: no unsafe eating, health claims or pressure to share photos.
Weekend crew: match-night call
Question: Which team will lead at the end of regulation time in the match we are watching? Choices: Team A / Team B / DRAW / NOT COMPLETED. Name the fixture, official result source and treatment of abandonment before voting. Regulation excludes extra time and penalties unless your question explicitly says otherwise.
